Firstly, this piece is simply fun. But I was also flirting with illustrating the ridiculous argument people who oppose same sax marriage have brought up in the past, "If the gays marry then the pedophiles will want to, and so will the ect, ect" Hence, the Monstahh Dating game show! Soon to be socially acceptable in a city near you ;)

I got a wonderful concept illustration gig for an animation company I really admire!! Unfortunately I can't share any of the art or details, but I'm stoked to be on board =)

I will however share some random sketches & a storyboard that is not top secret.

I did a series of pen sketches in my moleskin on the Columbia campus - this is my favorite one.

In other news, I'm taking a bus over to D.C. to participate in the National Equality March for LGBT rights with Joey and our buddies. My friend Lance Black will be there as well as Cleve Jones. It'll be an event to remember!Props to the poster designer, It's strong.

I went to the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan the other day for some good quality time with taxidermy animals & extinct skeletons

I couldn't help but focus in on the interesting negative spaces...

Are all Lemurs this scary? Or were they just stuffed to be growling with nasty expressions? 

The gorilla was incredibly cute though!

I have been sketching non-stop since I returned to NY! I have a new sketch book I've started & my goal is to watercolor every page of it. They will be posted up when I get around to it. I finished a mole skin I've had floating around for quite some time, & I've been working on 2 other projects. The transition period was difficult at first, but a week in and I'm back to loving it! My first Italian class starts tonight at Cooper Union continuing education so wish me luck
