Feathers and tin foil pants

2 weeks ago I preformed in the annual "Birdcalling" show at my school which is a rather big deal. Here's the shortest synopsis i can come up with: its a performance that must incorporate an imitation of a birdcall and give 3 facts about that specific bird.
This year 7 groups competed, although my group didn't place in the top three we still have a good chance of being featured on the David Letterman Late Night Show. I really dislike that show (the host isn't funny he's just cynical) so I'm not excited for the show but I would love a free trip up to N.Y!!
anyways...without further delay here's the photos from the show (The theme is year was David Letterbeak)

The stage and my group!

The Kookaburra specimen, also known as the laughing jackass (and thats a fact!)

...Us making the call

But the best part of this whole thing (besides being super fun and over the top) is that: I don't get stage fright!!! I'm so relieved for upcoming dance preformances

The 1920s progresses!

I think I'm almost done with all the "pre-production" stuff for my comic, Jake Lume, and I'm about ready to make the actual pages! A few more research trips to the S.F public Library and I'll be set!!

This week is insane though, I have a performance Friday afternoon, its sort of a competition in my school called "Bird Calling" and the winner goes on the Letterman show and maybe Ellen -- rehearsal time!!
