Sun, City, and Hills

6.3 miles or so of walking around San Francisco led me to a day sketching, 2 small parks I didn't know existed, and a great afternoon in my city. An aged hippie sitting in the Jackson Square Park. For the record, the other little dog park I found was at Linden and Octavia, I had only driven by it before.

I concluded my day at Tap Ex, admiring the shadows and rim lighting cast from the sunset. If your a bubble tea drinker, or just considering trying it - go to the San Francisco Tap Ex! They brew real tea and add soymilk with a bit of sugar - unlike the fake chemical crap you get everywhere else.
And what would a Paulsketch post be without a public transit doodle?

Here are some older photos I snapped with Joey on an SF and Berkeley outing:
Borrowed some camera equipment from Jo's work, including a portable green flash and messed around with it all in front of the new Jewish Contemporary Art Museum

These two below are film, I love the textures you get with traditional cameras - it feels more real. Taken on the CAL campus

wonderful work, popey. lovin' the textures. if you want to mention it, the film camera was an olympus xa with kodak 400cn film in it. you get bonus points for taking nice, sharp pictures with a miniature rangefinder camera. yay for film!

get ready for more color-gelled flash and earl grey boba! we're really gonna have to seek out a good boba place in new york, because they're few and far between.

PS your drawing of the SF ghosts (from the tenderloin) sneaking up on diesel-enthused paul is quite scary.
