Frisco, Protests, and Sketches

The mixed media painting my new blog icon is based on

I got to fly home for thanks giving, and it was incredible! My heart sang the whole weekend.

For brother Matt (I hope you don't see this before the real letter arrives in the mail.)

CALL TO ACTION
"We call on all supporters of equality to sustain and intensify the nationwide campaign of mass protests and non-violent civil disobedience, for seven weeks, starting on November 27, 2008, the thirtieth anniversary of the assassination of Harvey Milk" From the Seven Weeks to Equality website. My friend Lance Black and Cleve Jones wrote the introduction to the site, it's beautifully composed. Please sign up and pass it on.
To participate I joined in on the The NY protest of Prop 8, the turn out was incredible!

My dog "Chewie" (Short for Chewboacca, because he looks like an E-Wok from Star Wars. But even as a ten year old I had better judgment than to name my dog E-Wok, haha.)
I had to pack up my mother's house in few days I was home because she is moving. It was a hectic experience and sent me down nostalgia road. I found the cutest photos...
