On the Go and in the Paper

Encountered these semi androgynous hippies on BART. Their colorful wardrobe seemed to be assembled from random pieces they had found over time - the best was the Sunday Comics newspaper the 20 something year old had folded into a hat. They got off at 12th street BART, bet they were transferring onto a Richmond bound train to get off at downtown Berkeley. Oh, beautiful hippie children.
Coming back from Berkeley way to early the morning, day after St. Patt's Day. I was tired and rushing to make to class on time

Project Updates!

Don't Let 'Em Bite
This is the 2nd most recent addition in my AP Art concentration - It explores how a child's fear may distort their reality. "Don't Let Em Bite" is now up in my favorite coffee shop on Piedmont Avenue along with the work of my other classmates! Fun to sit there and glance at it occasionally, or better yet, hear other people talking about it.

Attempted "Rim Lighting" with a lamp I tipped over, leaning it on my nightstand. Ghetto set up

Above is an experimental photo series I did about a month ago. It plays around with form and light; Beginning with a well lit subject (myself...) that is slowly reduced to abstract shadows and forms. This is a little preview of the 7 part experiment

I really need to find myself a model.

In news other than my art, I've been enjoying the weather! Finally getting to sprawl out in parks under the sun. Been hanging out with friends a lot and occasionally checking out the Harvey Milk set. 3 months left of high school! woooooo
