My Light and Color design class is excellent. It's a challenge though, learning how to find/ document colors without "drawing them." As an illustrator, I have a tendency to want to make lines and have the foreground pop.
I knew drawing class would be a favorite of mine, but I'm disappointed not all six hours (every friday) are spent with a live model. The fist half is with a model, and the second portion of class is with a still life. I wish Pratt placed more emphasis on figure drawing - but for three bucks they offer sessions every monday. I just need to figure out how to fit that in.
Just started perspective in drawing, so all of my homework tonight is to find views with one, two, and three point perspective. As a comic book lover, I'm already used to perspective - those books (especially the series Nathaniel Dusk) are pure perspective! Amazing.
I went to my first New York Fall Fashion Show!! I got in as a "press photographer" for Columbia, thanks to Joey. Good thing they don't look too closely at the photo ID, because I for sure don't have black hair. Seeing the runway show was incredible! Crazy world, that fashion one is.
I also went to a fashion show after party with Jo and met some random "celebrities." Like that Queer Eye for Straight Guy (terrible terrible show that I refused to watch.) Take note of his highly saturated fake tan, silly.
