Whats going on in Paul land?

Summer plans! (looks like I'll be getting a San Francisco apt with Emily!) + pushing through the final 2 weeks of school, and playing in NY!

I'm constructing an action figure creature out of chipboard (with moving limbs just for kicks!) He looks rather daunting in the right light, no?

Here's the final product along with my concept illustration. I love seeing how ideas flesh out into new medias... The creature is for my final in drawing class: it will be a drawing that includes the created creature, a self portrait, and a nude model done from a mirror in the classroom.

I dappled in plaster for my first time yesterday to make a mold in which I'll be pouring resin into to make a sculpture. This project is so fun!

Check back to see the final pieces!
P.s. This is my first moble post! If it goes well get ready for frequent posting ;)

I'd love to see this guy animated. Your self portrait using planes is excellent.
