Back in the NY Pace

I met up with photographer Ryan Mcginley yesterday to talk about modeling for him (i'll address that in my next post) but he asked me to bring my art portfolio so i touched up some old artwork:

And the new stuff from 1st week back at Pratt
Drawing Class is still my favorite, I can't get enough time with the figure! 25x36 in.

In drawing we've moved into tone, (and its about damn time) very basic so far

It's great to be back in NYC and all the crazyness, went to 5 spot with my Pratt loves and then left for Kiss and Fly @ midnight to be with my manhattaners.

Winter Break, Why Not

I want to reclaim my rightful self-entitled label as a blog nerd ! And because its winter break, I now have time to. In light of this recent realization - here's a random post:

A digital illustration - playing around with mood & tone.

2 "spiral figures" i intended to display in my previous post. They were done at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from Greek statues - An assignment from Pratt.

The original version of a self portrait I did about a month ago (before I went crazy turning it into a digital painting.)
And Happy Birthday to my sister Angie! On the 13th of January, not the 14th - I haven't slept yet so it still counts as "yesterday."

Hey Hey 2009 !

Hope everyone enjoyed their time off for the holidays!!

I'm living full time @ my father's house this winter vacation because my mom has moved two hours north east of San Francisco. Here is a plein air illustration of our house

A character of my sister, Flesche' Tuller, (happy Chanukah sis!)

A leafy assignment...

Done in Esperanto Cafe in NY while studying with Joey

My quick figure drawings are getting more dynamic - i love noticing improvement !

Killing time with contours in my 3D class

I got a fresh sketch book for my old friend Gerin, happy 19th!
Baked her a pacman cake too

Ending the year with a self portrait seemed appropriate.
