I have some grim news regarding this featured faun: Early Friday afternoon he fell victim to a casting kit catastrophe. I sculpted him with the intention of making a slip-mold out of him so I could eventually cast the faun in some type of plastic. Unfortunately I didn't mix the smooth on casting kit thoroughly enough so the chances of it setting are slim... I won't know for sure until Friday though. At least I have photo documentation of him

Really great update... sculpture on point and more sketches! I've yet to attend the famous Drink n Draw, I thought I had to drive all the way up to Sacramento but I think there's a new SF chapter. Man, plein air painting in NY is definitely on my to-do list! Thanks Paul for checking out my latest painting. Gotta squeeze as much in before the rain hit....I think this weekend actually, LOL.
